Things You Might See in Arbiter

  • A game with two open slots, one for plate, one for bases. This means no umpires are signed up yet. Please sign up for these!
  • A game with one filled slot and one open slot. The filled slot will show the name of the scheduled umpire. This means someone signed up for the game, but needs a partner. Please sign up for these!
  • A game with two filled slots. These will show as the names of umpires. This means the game is covered, and all is well.
  • A game with no slots. This means the game is on the schedule but it is not being covered by volunteer umpires, it is being handled by another league or by a service. These outside organizations are not integrated with Arbiter, so we can't see what they are doing to cover the games. You can ignore these games. But this notation does not mean there are no umpires, just that they are not RNLL volunteers.
  • No game at all. Don't panic. Sometimes games that are handled by a service are never put into Arbiter at all.
